Uprush
was conceived as a 'youth portal', aimed at the elusive 16-34 demographic.
As Deputy Editor of the site, I wrote the majority of the content
and produced regular features, reviews and news articles.
Uprush also featured dedicated 'mini-sites' from major entertainment
events, including the Glastonbury Festival, the annual Soccer 6 celebrity
football tournament and other events.
The editorial on the site was largely tongue-in-cheek and revelled
in the 'trash' end of popular culture.
Sadly, Uprush met its untimely end with the bursting of the dotcom
bubble in the early 2000s.
